Adventures of A Jewellery Designer - Premiere Classe Paris

Paris Fashion week is looming, which is the highlight of the fashion calendar every year. The whole fashion world descends on the capital.

Alongside the catwalk shows there are a range of venues, where designers can showcase their work.

We are delighted to have been chosen to exhibit at Premiere Classe in Paris,  which will take place from 4th-7th March.  This is considered to be the top accessorise show in the world and  the code breaker of leading trends.

For 25 years, the Premiere Classe trade show has given international buyers and the fashion press the chance during Paris Fashion Week , to view what are considered to be the best fashion accessories of the moment all under one roof in its legendary location in the Jardin des Tuileries, right in the heart of Paris.

Premiere Classe carefully selects and showcases a selection of 400 trend-setting brands.  As the show organisers say "PREMIERE CLASSE showcases next season's accessory trends. Renowned for its high-quality selection, the trade show presents high-end jewellery, footwear, leather goods and many accessory designers and labels that are specifically chosen for their creativity, originality and style. "

So all the hard work, creative output and energy in our workshops in Jaipur, India - where I have sat for hours with my goldsmiths, silversmiths, stone-cutters, engravers, enamel workers, and stone-setters, labouring over each detail of the jewellery..will be taken to Paris next week.  I hope some of the magic and love and energy we have all poured into the collection over the past few months, will be enjoyed by those who see it.

Our collection embraces all the old couture techniques to create luxe-bohemian treasure for today.

All Elle Magazine says...

"I love Emma Chapman's work:  the intricate settings, the beautiful
craftsmanship, the fact that all the gems have a meaning, and each piece of jewellery has a story.

Her love of India is evident in the mix of traditional techniques and her brilliant eye for design.  These are all one off pieces -  real works of art, must have pieces of jewellery."
